What is your approach to getting people engaged with H+S?

Starting a conversation about what is involved in the work people do. Going onto 'the floor', 'out in the field', 'starting early' and even being taken out of a comfort zone.  Everyone has a story, taking time to listen to the stories.

What is one of your proudest achievements in your H+S career?

Growing a culture of caring; caring about the work people do, caring about the risk of them being injured, caring about how I can support physical and psychological health.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Connecting with friends, whanau and community. Helping others, making wonderful memories, laughing and taking time be thankful and appreciative of what we have.
